ExTerra has the capacity to solicit competitive pricing and delivery schedules for the largest and most commonplace food commodities such as pulses and grains. This is due to the immense volume of product purchased year over year.
Conversely, thanks to our deep knowledge base, we can procure even the most esoteric products for our customers on an as-needed basis.
LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT
Our long-standing relationships and volume of business with ocean, rail and truck transportation companies allows us to negotiate the best possible rates and transit times for our customers. And, throughout the shipping process, our aggressive and detail-oriented logistics department works hard to ensure all products are delivered on time and in excellent condition.
Additionally, we have the expertise in utilizing the ACE platform to manifest international shipments. We prepare and process all documents pertaining to each shipment to comply with the final country of destination requirements.
TRADE FINANCING
For our global customers, ExTerra has consistently extended aggressive credit terms to overseas buyers, many of whom were denied credit by other shippers. Our credit rating process is thorough and has resulted in very few claims throughout our history. For our suppliers, particularly US shippers, having ExTerra as a customer facilitates export shipments by removing the risk of overseas receivables.
